Installation Instructions

Follow these simple, step-by-step instructions to install your Garage Sensor Adapter quickly and easily.

  1. Choose Installation Area

    Select a location on the interior surface of your garage door, preferably near the top, where the adapter can be mounted securely.

  2. Clean the Installation Area

    Using a damp cloth, clean the area where you will be attaching the adapter. Ensure the surface is free of dirt, dust, and grease. Let it dry completely before proceeding.

  3. Peel the Sticker Film

    Peel off the protective film from the back of the adapter, revealing the adhesive surface.

  4. Stick the Adapter to the Garage Door

    Place the adapter onto the selected area of the garage door, ensuring the adhesive side is facing the door and the sticker points downward. Press firmly to ensure a strong bond.

  5. Attach the Magnetic Sensor

    Position the magnetic part of the contact sensor behind the narrower wing of the adapter that is fixed to the door. Make sure it’s properly aligned.

  6. Attach the Electronic Sensor

    Now, attach the electronic (heavier) part of the contact sensor to the wider wing of the adapter. Ensure it sticks securely in place.

  7. Test the System

    Open and close the garage door to ensure that the contact sensor behaves correctly. It should close when the door is closed and open when the door opens. Make sure you receive notifications on your device as well.
